Here at Kids Gear Spot we pride ourselves on delivering the very best quality at affordable prices. We are not a consignment store, we pay cash or store credit on the Spot. 

You can accept cash for your items or receive 15% more for your items as store credit. We strive to sell items for 50% or lower of their new value. That can change based on condition of the item, seasonality, current inventory and demand. We base the amount we can pay for the item on that criteria as well. To increase your chances of getting the most for your items, please take a look at the recommended tips.   

Tips to get top dollar for your items

• Please only bring in clothes that are clean, no tears, no stains, no smells, no pet hair and have all buttons/snaps/zippers. 

• Please have the clothes organized. For example, laid flat in a box or neatly displayed. Avoid throwing clothes into a garbage bag. Taking it all out and unfolding it only delays your time.

• Please only bring in toys that are clean, have all the pieces and intact packaging. Instruction manuals are also a plus. 

• Please ensure items are in working order. We will test items that require batteries and cords. We do this so we resell quality items. 

What we do not take

• At this time, we are not purchasing cribs, bassinets (basically items that are specifically manufactured for children to sleep) and car seats or mattresses. We also do not take in life vests or floaties. This is based on the safety of our clients.

• For cleanability purposes, we are not taking in stuffed animals unless they are new in a package.

We are also not renting items, like strollers and pack n’ plays. However, please feel free to purchase the item in store. When you are done using it, bring it back in the same or better condition and we will purchase it back at our resale trade in pricing. The same as renting.
